Spring Program Information and Registration
Goal: Tocreate a sacred space and time that welcomes you to slow down, rest and be still. One is encouraged to deepen their spirituality through using guided spiritual reading and films integrating theology, scripture and church history through a process of daily prayer, meditation and contemplation in the spirit of Vatican II. In faith, we journey together with one another, contemporary holy men and women and early church leaders and mystics. The purpose is to awaken our slumbering spirits and allow God to integrate the inner and outer landscapes of our lives so they are matching and reflect the power of the “good news” of our catholic church in our daily lives
Programs: Programs are given four times a year – fall, winter, spring and summer – .
Each session meets once a week a person can choose which session best fits their schedule: Tuesday and Friday mornings at 10:00 am or Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm after 7:00 pm Christian Meditation.
Services:
- Organization of courses goes through a prayerful discernment of the daily needs for the times in which we live, i.e., where and how the spirit is leading us
- Spiritual direction and guidance are offered on an individual basis arranged by convenient appointments free of charge.
- At present the charge for the courses is $25.00 that covers the cost of books, paper and audiovisuals. Everyone is admitted whether you can pay the fee or not. The purpose here is to give everyone the opportunity for this experience and avoid any type of elitism fostered by only those who can afford adult retreats.
